This Cancellation Policy establishes the conditions under which bookings made through AllAboutMurcia.com may be cancelled and the circumstances in which refunds may be issued.
By booking a guided tour through this website, customers acknowledge and accept the terms described below.
1. Nature of the Service
All About Murcia provides guided cultural tours and heritage interpretation services led by a licensed official tourist guide.
The service offered consists exclusively of the professional guiding service.
Entrance tickets, transportation, and services provided by third parties (such as museums, monuments or cultural institutions) are not considered part of the guiding service unless explicitly stated.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel their booking by contacting All About Murcia via email or through the contact method used during the reservation process.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time
If the cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the guided tour service.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time
If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, refunds cannot be guaranteed.
In such cases:
The guide has already reserved the time slot and may have declined other bookings.
The service may therefore be considered fully due.
However, depending on the circumstances and availability, All About Murcia may offer:
the possibility to reschedule the tour, or
a partial refund at the discretion of the service provider.
3. No-Show Policy
If participants do not appear at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time, the booking will be considered a no-show.
In these cases:
The service will be considered fulfilled, and
No refund will be issued.
Participants are advised to arrive 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
4. Tickets, Reservations and Third-Party Services
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the price of the tour does not include entrance tickets to monuments, museums, archaeological sites, or other attractions.
If tickets or reservations have been purchased in advance for:
museums
monuments
archaeological sites
cultural venues
other third-party attractions
these costs are subject to the refund policy of the corresponding institution.
All About Murcia cannot guarantee the refund of such expenses.
Any refund issued under this cancellation policy applies only to the amount charged for the guiding service provided by All About Murcia.
5. Monument Closures and Schedule Changes
Some tours include visits to museums, monuments or archaeological sites managed by public institutions or private organizations.
These venues may occasionally close due to:
administrative decisions
public events
religious ceremonies
maintenance or restoration works
changes in opening hours
In such cases, the guide may adapt the itinerary to include alternative sites of historical or cultural interest.
These circumstances do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund, provided that the guiding service is still delivered.
6. Force Majeure
All About Murcia shall not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications caused by force majeure circumstances, including but not limited to:
extreme weather conditions
public safety concerns
strikes or transport disruptions
monument closures imposed by authorities
unforeseen public events
In such cases, customers will be offered:
the possibility to reschedule the tour, or
a refund of the guiding service fee, when appropriate.
7. Changes Requested by the Customer
Customers who wish to modify a booking (for example changing the date or time) should contact All About Murcia as early as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and operational feasibility.
8. Refund Method
Any approved refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking, unless otherwise agreed.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider.
